Great gift
By E.S. "lovemyson" (NY USA)

We got Mickey Mouse Monopoly for my dad for his 75th birthday, because of the 75th anniversary, and because he's always loved Mickey. It's a fun gift, nice retro touch, and still a quality games. Thumbs up! (Monopoly Here Toys and Games)

Almost Perfect
By Bruce Aguilar (Hollywood, CA)

My favorite thing about his edition is the design which is all retro. The board and box have a stressed, aged look to them and classic Mickey is everywhere on Mickey Mouse Monopoly. It looks great, but it could have been better. First off why in just about every version of Monopoly are the "Go", "Jail", "Free Parking" and "Go To Jail" corner spaces always the same? These should have been themed to better fit in with the rest of the design. Also the property cards have no themeing on them at all except for a Mickey face on their backs. One more thing, the houses and hotels are just the same as in classic Monopoly. Why bother theming the games if you're not going to theme it all? That said, the cards and money came out looking terrific as do the pewter pieces. Gameplay is exactly like regular Monopoly so the real reason to buy this edition is for the theming. Unfortunately although what was done looks great, there is much room for improvement. Here's hoping the 80th anniversary edition of Mickey Mouse sees an even better version of this great games. The World's Greatest Board Games Returns to a Galaxy Far
By Jamy Shaffer (Edgerton, OH United States)

Away...
As an owner of the original trilogy Monopoly, I was delighted to see the world's greatest games combine with the world's greatest movie series, but I found it to be little more than a run-of-the-mill games of Monopoly with only a few special extras. When the Episode I edition came out, I received it for Christmas and have loved it ever since. It is so amazingly cool!!! The property deeds attach to the board. The hoses and hotels (or as they are referred to here, apartments and towers) are stackable and also attach to the board, so there is no bothersome vandalism of property improvements. I love it so much that I even combined the money from the original Star Wars Monopoly with the new so the bank lasts longer. After these two editions came out, the world has been subjected to needless editions of the games that don't hold a candle to the fun, excitement, and beauty of this masterpiece. I even take it out just to look at the games.

Star Wars Freak
By A Customer

I play the games with my friends about once a week and the only disappointment is the fact that Obi-Wan is not one of the game pieces. I really like how they put the properties on the board. That way the gamesgames goes faster and you don’t have to look for the piece every time one is bought. I also really like the fact that the money is Public Dieteies instead of dollers.

Monopoly Boutique Edition

Pink monopoly just for girls? I don't think so., February 26, 2008
By Edward Balen (Bradenton, Florida)

First of all, I'm a long time Monopoly collector. I love Monopoly as I call it for short. Second of all, I know pink and purple are considered stereotyped colors. I know that they're considered female and feminine, but to me, they're just colors, plain and simple. I have a great many of Monopoly games in my collection, and I'm glad to add this one. Last, and most important, shop wisely for monopoly boutique edition. Toys R Us sells it for much less than offered here.

Monopoly for Pirates, December 13, 2007
By Kylan (Dallas, OR USA)

I really enjoyed this version of Monopoly. The pirate theme really puts some zest into the traditional Monopoly. I would have made some better games tokens though, its difficult to determine what some tokens represent. I would have created ships for the tokens.

Description Disney Monopoly
Editorial Review

All of your favorite Disney characters are featured in classic Monopoly style for a family game that everyone can enjoy. You already know how to play, so nothing has changed--except a few things that actually make this version collectible. Solid pewter moving pieces feature Snow White, a coupled Lady & The Tramp, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Alice, and Baboo. Property is represented as a cottage and the Prince's well-known castle. Scrooge McDuck, naturally, is featured on all Monopoly money in place of Rich Uncle Pennybags. --Diane Beall

A must have for Disney fans, January 1, 2008
By M. Munoz (Missouri)

Our family loves Monopoly and Disney. I was thrilled to find them both together. We enjoy playing Monopoly has a family, the kids love it. It is simple enough for the littles one to play. Even at two years old they can roll the dice and move their own piece. They where all very excited when I pulled this new version out. I like that it has all the classic Disney movies. The only problem is fighting over the game pieces. We all have our favorites. Gives a great new spin on a good old classic game
A must have for all Monopoly and Disney lovers!

Editorial Review

Eager for a game of Monopoly, but don't have a few hours handy? Pick up the Monopoly Card Game and get your land-baron fix in under an hour. Game play is fast and fun. Try to build up a color set of properties and lay down your hand first with as many houses, hotels, and other beneficial cards as possible. You'll need to exchange cards with other players to win, which adds new levels of strategy and recalls the wheeling and dealing of the board game. Keep score after each hand with Monopoly money; make it to $10,000, and you're the big winner! --Rob Lightner

A new twist on the classic game, you get the fast-paced, strategic fun of Monopoly in this card game. Includes deck of 60 cards, pad of money, card tray and rules. For 2-6 players.

Shocking Surprise
By Medaan Chilali (Texas)

I was going on a road trip cross country and was looking for a fun card game I could play in the hotels along the way. I stumbled across Monopoly the Card Game quite by accident and being a fan of Monopoly but knowing I wouldn't have the time to play the bulkier board game version on the road I picked it up. I was a little nervous as I hadn't seen it in stores or anything. Once I got it and we made our first stop we played Monopoly the Card Game for hours. It was a BLAST! Plus the added bonus was that you could keep score with the money so no need to pack a pen and pad. The only drawback is the cards seem to be a little thin and bend kind of easy, but I would totally recommend Monopoly the Card Game for anyone who likes a Monopoly version of gin rummy with a twist. What fun! It's addictive! One of the best card games out there!
By Shirley "SAnneGranny26" (Sacramento, CA United States)

What a great way to play Monopoly! I like it even better than the board game. It was VERY addictive and a lot of fun to play! To my surprise, it has all the elements of the board game and then some. The strategy involved is interesting, especially when you need the cards in your own discard pile! My husband isn't big on playing cards and at times I get tired of waiting for the board game to end. We tried this and just couldn't put it down ... we played the 2-player version for several hours the first time we played it. We like to go camping and Monopoly the Card Game is small enough to pack with ease. Depending on whether you are caught with the Chance card or not, it can be fairly easy to win the game in just a couple of hands, when that happens we just increase the amount needed to win. The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that there isn't enough monopoly money provided, but that was easily fixable--we just kept a written tabulation of the score on paper and knew at a glance what our total winnings were. If you like to play monopoly, this is a very refreshing way to play! (More Toys and Games)

I love Monopoly and LotR and this journey on Middle-Earth is indeed crazy By S. Glaser (Manning,SC USA)

I remember reading LotR and I loved the series and the Peter Jackson version. Once I heard of the Monopoly edition of LotR, I was excited. I soon won the LotR Monopoly edition. I came home, invited some relatives and soon had a great time!As you know, Monopoly is a game inwhich you have to be the ultimate monopoly. You buy and sell property, and if you own Mt. Doom and Bara-dur (Boardwalk and Park Place in the original Monopoly) then you get a monopoly. You can build strongholds (houses) and fortresses (hotels) and everytime a rival lands on your property, then he has to give you power (money). If you can't pay the rent then you'll become bankrupt and you are out. You also have to avoid jail. There is some new tokens that resemble characters from LotR. If you had a look at the screenshots of this Monopoly game then you'll notice a lot of changes. But there is a new optional rule you can play with in this version; everytime you roll an "Eye of Sauron" (also counts as one) the golden ring will move to one territory per eye, where you can add strongholds. If you land on a territory with the ring, you may get it for FREE! If you land on an owned territory with the ring on it, you have to pay double the rent. So, if you are a 100% die-hard LotR that only enjoy the books, then you can miss. But if you are looking for a Monopoly board or for LotR stuff, I recommend Monopoly - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Edition then Note: If Tolkien lived to see this, he would have died immediately. Infact, I think he's rolling in his grave as I am typing this review. (More Toys and Games…)

Transformers Monopoly has to be the best version of monopoly i've ever played. the pieces were too small and two of the cards had typos on them, but aside from that, the game is a transformers geek heaven. the properties were drawn from the series ingenously and the pieces were quality despite their small size. the chance and community chest cards translated to the faction cards beautifully as well. and the alternate faction rules for double number rolls are an absolute blast. i love Transformers Monopoly! Great first wagon, February 16, 2008
By Christopher Spence "Security Evangelist" (New Hamsphire, USA)

I think every baby will have a Radio Flyer at some point, Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon is a great first wagon. It has some little plastic pegs that create resistance (and some clicking noise) to make sure it doesn't fly out from under them when trying to walk. Our boy loves to sit in it and ride around the house, of course that means you have to bend over and push him around but it is well worth the exercise! (More Toys…)

Very Sturdy... you don't really see that anymore..., February 14, 2008
By Brandy

I was immediately impressed when I took Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon out of the box. It is ALL wood construction! I, being your average consumer, expected some wood and some parts to be plastic (as so much is these days). The weight added because of this truly all wood construction, not to mention real rubber wheels, makes this sturdier than any other infant walker I've seen. It's hard to tip, so I don't have to worry about my 11 month old pulling it onto himself while trying to get in an upright position. Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon will be something my son enjoys for years, and the best part is... it will LAST! (More Toys…)

Now fourteen months old, he still plays with Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon everyday! The wagon was also a huge hit with the other children in his play group. One Of The Best!!
By Carla L. Johnson "Mimi" (usa)

Grandmothers are always looking for something unique and different. This has to be one of the best things ever!My grandkids were simply fascinated and read the book and began the project only to be amazed at the metamophysis!! They couldn't believe their eyes watching the butterflies emerge! The best experience was letting them go. For days they saw the butterflies around their flowers and plants. They always exlaimed that they were the ones that they grew!! It's durable and can be used over and over and easy to store. A few died but very few...it's important to follow the instructions. You can't miss with Butterfly Garden one if your kids love nature and the outdoors. They will never forget this life lesson..it's vital today for this generation to respect nature's way!! Hidden cost! Extra work! They should disclose that!
By Wisdom (New Orleans)

We just received Butterfly Garden and I was shocked to discover that we have to enclose a payment in order to receive our caterpillars! I thought I already paid for Butterfly Garden! Why on earth wouldn't they include any additional cost in the initial payment?? Thank goodness we bought Butterfly Garden for ourselves first instead of gifting it - I would be mortified to give a gift that cost the recipient money. Very disappointed in this product.

Nothing short of "miraculous"
By L.A. Young "Amazon Fan" (Ventura, CA)

Four caterpillars were "raised" in one good-sized BUTTERFLY GARDEN this September/October in coastal California. I can only imagine how many you could place in the larger one! We got to watch them pupate and emerge as Monarchs over the course of about 4 weeks. I only had to supply the milkweed from our garden and I purchased a water vial for $.25 from the flower section of the grocery store to keep the branch fresh. It is a wonder and a miracle happening before your eyes. We also watched two cocoons located outside but having them inside and getting to see the progress at any moment is amazing. Meanwhile we are growing more milkweed and stored our BUTTERFLY GARDEN (which conveniently collapses) until our next opportunity to propagate more Monarchs. I highly recommend Butterfly Garden and this experience to anyone...singles, couples or families. Prepare to be totally dazzled. (More Toys…)
