I purchased Barbie Hair Accessory Set for my daughter for Christmas 2007. She was just over 2 years old at the time. She really likes this set and plays with it almost everyday. The working hair dryer is really cute and all the nail polish tops actually come off so she can pretend she is really painting toes. The makeup is realistic but not real (as stated in some other reviews). It would have been nicer if it had a carrying case with it but we just purchased a clear storage container with a lid and handle and now it is her "beauty kit" that we put some other "beauty" items in with this set. Good value for this set. Yes I would recommend. Small pieces require you to be careful if you have younger ones.(More Toys…)

I purchased Barbie Hair Accessory Set for my 3 yr old granddaughter to go with a vanity she has. Her favorite is the blow dryer that actually works and sounds like Mommy's blow dryer. I was disappointed that the brushes are just hard plastic, but overall was pleased with the product. (More Toys…)

Gave it to my 2.5 year old niece along with a stylin head. She loves the hairdryer with it's realistic sounds. I just finished helping my daughter complete her first Illustory Book about her pet kitty. I only paid $5.93 on Amazon in December for the
Illustory Pet Story. Now it seems to be more expensive. My daughter is age six and wanted to use real photos of our cat so we decided to use the online version. You get to type as many words per page as you would like and the first 15 double sided pages are free. I think it took me about 2 hours just to figure out the software and how to upload my digital photos to the book. I was using a Mac and I was very frustrated at times. I said a few bad words. My daughter seemed to enjoy the process very much. Go figure. You submit the complete book online and pay the $3.95 return book shipping fee with a credit card. I thought this was going to be included in the kit price, but was it not. They say they online version speeds up the production time. We are patiently awaiting for our masterpiece to arrive. Next time, I will have her draw her own illustrations on the paper forms and mail it in. I think it is more charming that way.(More Toys…)

IlluStory Make Your Own Story Kit was an extremely fun process to go through. while you write your own story, and draw your own pictures, you get to send it in an d have it made into a book. Not a published and public book a hardback, just for you, friends, and family book! It is very fun again. I highly recommend it for children ages 5-12 but it can go higher (or lower if the handwriting is legible).

My daughter has spent many hours playing with WEBKINZ - Reindeer. (It's a good thing that it is proving to be durable!) The educational value comes from the video link to the games on the Internet. (Without computer access, the educational value disappears.) I'm not sure if the toy would have been as attractive to her if it had not arrived during the holidays. Extremely disappointed with the service I received! One of the reindeer arrived with a hole in it's ear before Christmas and I still have not heard from the toy company (not Webkinz) about what they were going to do to correct the problem!
